Do your kids outgrow their clothes and toys in less time than it takes you to drink your morning coffee? Try keeping their rooms and closets organized more easily by placing a "To be Donated" storage tote in a central location in your house (laundry room, coat closet, etc.).

As you identify things that have finished serving your family, then you or your family members can place them in the tote. When it is full, transfer the items to a box or bags and pass them along to friends or take them to your favorite donation center.

To be extra efficient for tax purposes, keep a sheet of paper taped to the inside of the lid and record the item as it is placed inside with its appropriate tax deductible value.
