Entrusted at my Church -- Fort Myers, FL

It's that time again for many of us -- the beginning of a new ministry season. We are so excited to welcome each of this year's Entrusted with a Child's Heart groups. Our Entrusted Ministries staff is praying for you and expecting God to do wonderful things in your groups and homes.

Here's a testimony from Entrusted Mom, April Bennett about her group which met last year at Daniels Road Baptist Church in Fort Myers, FL.

"This past year my church moms’ group started using Entrusted With a Child’s Heart. It has absolutely invigorated the group. The newly-founded group had been meeting bi-weekly but wasn’t using any curriculum. Entrusted challenged us through God’s Word and gave us focus and direction. We read the book, and the group mentor, an older, godly woman, led the discussion and prayer time that focused on the themes of the chapter.

Personally, my favorite moms’ group meeting was the day we made our family standards posters. After reading and discussing the necessity of personal convictions and family standards based on God’s Word, the group leader brought in all her scrapbooking materials, so we could make our own family standards poster. We talked, ate donuts, and drank way too much coffee while we put the family standards we had created on poster board. I made a large poster to hang on the refrigerator.

My family refers to our family standards poster quite often. Both of my children especially like to quote, “We are a family who shares” whenever my husband and I have a treat they would like to taste.

I am thankful for Entrusted and have learned so much from the study. It is great to see the moms excited about moms’ group and inviting others to join us."

April's group has added two new members this year and has started going through the Entrusted study a second time. What a great way to review the principles and find continued encouragement and direction from God's Word for everyday life!
