Having just traveled through the snowstorm of the decade to arrive back in Chicagoland, Betsy and Nancy wish to thank the women of Harvest Bible Chapel - Davenport for having us as their guests. Last week Betsy addressed their Monday evening and Tuesday morning
Entrusted with a Child's Heart
classes as she emphasized God's plan for biblical discipline.
It was also great to meet the women from Aledo, Illinois who braved the weather to attend. We would like to especially thank Evie, Susan, Becky and Ann for their warm hospitality and all the "moms" who joined us.
We were very touched by the outpouring of support and encouragement. And we loved learning about the "
commercial
" the Aledo ministry created to invite moms to their "Entrusted" study.
Thank you to the dear women from Iowa who shared these words about Entrusted Ministries:
"I just wanted to tell you what a blessing the

study has been in my life. When I started the study, I was pursuing the phone books for divorce lawyers. Although this study doesn't emphasize the topic of marriage, it has had a lasting impact on mine. The section regarding God's balance and will for the family structure was eye opening...I always thought that I may have married the wrong man, but now I know that's not true. I am married and will stay married. My husband and I have overcome many different obstacles. I know tough times are inevitable, but now I know we will survive them..."
"Just wanted you to know what a blessing
Entrusted with a Child's Heart
has been to me and my family. I wasn't going to take the study because I have done many parenting Bible studies in the past. There was a need for a small group leader so I decided to switch. I'm so glad that I did! Even though my husband and I are united in our parenting, this study has helped us become better communicators with each other and our children. I will certainly encourage all the moms I know to take this study - no matter how old their children are."
"
Happy the home where Jesus' name is sweet to every ear; where children early lisp His fame, and parents hold Him dear.
This childhood hymn comes back to me as I practice singing my [Entrusted CD] memory verses, and my son sings along. My heart swells. It's both humbling and encouraging for my husband and me when our son sings Psalm 85:8 or Ephesians 6:1-4. I learned to read and play the piano from the Methodist Hymnal, so the songs it contains are more than sacred to me. They are inseparable from the workings of my brain. I am greatly moved when I think about these truly sacred verses being so deep seated in my son..."

Yay! What an awesome time we had learning from Betsy and diving into God's word. Just think of all the little ones represented here. Thank you!
