2010 at a Glance!

We've been busy this year! And we're excited to share the many ways that God has been working in and through Entrusted Ministries with each of you, our friends and faithful supporters.

As the year comes to a close, we are praising God for all of the blessings He has brought to us. Here are some of the key events and developments which occurred in 2010.

Revive Our Hearts interview with Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

This past year Betsy had the unique opportunity to discuss the Entrusted with a Child's Heart ministry with author and Christian radio speaker Nancy Leigh DeMoss in a live radio recording of her Revive Our Hearts radio show. This six-part series is scheduled to air in 2011.

Launch of New Entrusted Book.

After 12 years as a “Moms Only” Ministry, Entrusted with a Child’s Heart has now officially crossed the gender barrier! Led by Dave Corning, the first men's group, comprised of over 20 men, met each Saturday morning to discuss one chapter per week of the Entrusted with a Child’s Heart book format. This book, designed for men's groups, individuals, couples, or small groups is taking root in churches and neighborhoods across the country.

Reprint of the Notebook.

Entrusted Ministries released an updated version (6th edition) of our workbooks just in time for the 2010 Fall start-ups. These books present our new look as well as 60 extra pages of biblical counsel in parenting.

New Leadership Training Manual.

An updated version of our Leadership Training Manual gives ministry leaders a comprehensive guide to leading the Entrusted classes at their churches.

Romanian Translation.

We have a wonderful opportunity and privilege to work with seven Romanian churches to get Entrusted with a Child's Heart translated into the Romanian language and into the hands of families there.

New Scripture Memory CD.

In September, we released a new Scripture Memory CD featuring the 23 passages of Scripture which are memorized in the Entrusted with a Child’s Heart program. The upbeat tunes keep parents and children singing along while they hide God’s Word in their hearts. Lead vocals and music by Josh Caterer.

         

True Woman Conferences.

Our Entrusted team had the privilege of being ministry sponsors for three True Woman Conferences this year in Chattanooga, Indianapolis, and Fort Worth. These events provided great opportunity to introduce Entrusted with a Child’s Heart to key ministry leaders as well as the thousands of women in attendance. True Woman is led by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and is a growing ministry of Revive Our Hearts.

New Ministries and Locations.

The Lord blessed us with 33 new churches this year including ministry start-ups in North Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, and Australia, just to name a few.

Increased Speaking Opportunities.

There is an ever-increasing call for the teaching and training of Entrusted in churches all across the nation. This year Betsy was able to encourage women in a variety of locations and venues. 

Expanded Staff and Board of Directors.

With all the additional ministry opportunities, we have found the need to increase the size of our team. Within the past two years, we have added four staff members as well as two new board members, Annette Menconi and Bob Gunter.
