Here's a Fall recipe that's easy to stir up with your children for a quick afternoon snack. Little ones will enjoy the yummy chocolate goodness while parents will love the wallop of fiber and vitamins concealed in each serving.

Pumpkin? What pumpkin? Shhh.... chances are your kids won't even taste it.

Chocolatey Pumpkin Muffins

Ingredients:


1 (18.25 ounce) package chocolate cake mix
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
1 C chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a 12 cup muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray or paper liners.
  2. Mix cake mix and pumpkin puree together in a large bowl until smooth, then stir in chocolate chips. Pour equal amounts of batter into muffin cups. They will be almost completely full.
  3. Bake for 20-25 or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool and enjoy.
